Department of Curriculum and Instruction

General Information

The Department of Curriculum and Instruction conducts the relevant Teacher Profession Knowledge Courses within the Faculty of Education. The Department of Educational Sciences conducts Postgraduate Programs as the Department of Curriculum and Instruction within the Institute of Social Sciences. The aim of our Department's Master's Program is to train lifelong learners who will guide the development and evaluation of educational programs aimed at structuring the nature of knowledge in a meaningful way; who can design effective teaching-learning processes, who have high-level thinking skills; and who can apply scientific research methods and principles to every aspect of their lives.

There are five academic staff working in our department, one professor, three associate professors, and one lecturer. Our faculty members contribute to the conduct of undergraduate and graduate level courses and student advising processes in line with their expertise in their fields.

There are no acti e students at the undergraduate level in our department. There are active students at the thesis and non-thesis master's level.
